The SIXAM SS
 The new O'Brien SixAM SS is being introduced this spring as a replacement for the SixAM

1.0. The SixAM SS is the fastest ski we have ever built, yet it still carves and finishes turns

very well on both your on and off side turns. You simply will not believe how early and wide

you arrive at every buoy and how much angle you achieve coming out of the turn. With each

 length of ski going through an individual redesign process, each ski length will see

changes on everything from transitional bevels to rocker and will have new flex

patterns developed to make you ski your best. The new SixAM SS series is a

quantum leap on the evolutionary scale of water skis.

MODIFIED FULL CONCAVE WITH HOLDING FLATS- SIXAM SS has a full continuous radius

concave which give superior holding power out of the turn..
TRANSITIONAL BEVEL -  Bevel on the SIXAM SS is defined in the fore body and transitions

to a continuous round halfway back. This gives the ski tracking from the front of the ski,

allowing the tail to pivot around for a tight radius turn, and advanced holding throughout the turn.
ROCKER PATTERN - The SIXAM SS has a continuous rocker that allows for maximum feedback

of the skis position at all times. The fluid rocker pattern allows the ski to roll quickly into the

acceleration phase.
FREEDOM SLOT TAIL - The Freedom slot relieves pressure from the fin at speed, allowing

the skier to carry maximum speed into the turn, but allowing the fin a predictable release. .
TORSION DESIGNED TOP GEOMETRY - Top geometry on the SIXAM SS is not just for looks.

The top of the ski has been computationally optimized to give the ski tremendous tensional

stiffness while remaining extremely light.
CIRRUS CORE TECHNOLOGY- SIXAM SS uses a specially formulated CNC machined core

for the ultimate in light weight and unparalleled responsiveness and energy return.

Blank ski but with binding Options 

The Obrien Mission waterski is designed for aggressive skiers who prefer a

full concave bottom design.  It features small, sharp bevels that help the roll

up on edge and lock in for stable, consistant turns.  This bevel design also

gives the Mission more straight-line stability than most full concave skis.

Built with a leightweight graphite/fiberglass composite the Mission offers

plenty of accelleration without being overly stiff.  This allows it to be skied

aggressively at slower speeds than top-of-the-line skis, which don't excell

below 34 mph.  To top off the responsive feel O'Brien gave the Mission a

narrow profile, allowing the ski to roll edge to edge quickly.

If you are looking for a ski that has the feel of an expert level ski at slightly

slower speeds look no further than the Mission.

Finally, a ski that anyone can get up on that also makes short work of

the slalom course! This wide bodied ski makes light work of deep waterstarts.

With a transitional tunnel-to-full concave bottom design, it is stable

yet still able to make quick turns and strong pulls.
